I'm completely new to Notion, where do I start?

Well first, welcome to the wonderful notion community! I recommend you set a moment aside to read Matt Ragland's Beginner's Guide to learn more about Notion's capabilities. 👇🏾

How should I use this template?

Once you have assigned three Objectives to "in focus" status, you can begin structuring your Action Items. When creating a new page in the system, please use the templates in the dropdown near the blue "New" button found at the top right-hand corner of each database.
For your objectives, you can choose between a ‘New Monthly Goal/Project’, which typically spans the length of 30 days, or a ‘New Quarterly Objective’, which can take up to three months to achieve. Every objective should have a specific outcome by its ending date. I encourage you to check in with your progress weekly to make adjustments to your strategy. As a reminder, weekly improvement toward your goals takes time and ‘productivity’ cannot be achieved without adequate rest.
Action Items lets you be more specific with a particular task or project at hand. The Action Items database view in the top left shows all incomplete tasks and projects that are either To-do or Due by today and any day prior. Be mindful: items assigned ‘Reminder’ (Type), ‘Blocked’ (Status), ‘Cancelled’ (Status), or ‘Archive’ (Status) will not appear here.

The second Action Items database has many views, which you can access in the dropdown at the top of the page, with the first being ‘Next 7 days’. The best way to familiarize yourself with these views initially is by adding a few tasks, which I recommend you do directly in your corresponding Objective after choosing from one of the templates, and flipping through each to see how they're sorted and filtered.
If you want to quickly navigate from the Weekly Agenda page to other pages in Notion, find the page, click the three dots in the top right and select 'Move to'. Input 'Menu Nav', then select this page to move it into the persistent side menu in your Weekly Agenda dashboard. If you don’t want to move the entire page, make an empty page in the Menu Nav database and link to your page by typing + followed by the name of the page. Press enter then close out of the page. This adds an extra click, but can still be quite handy if the Weekly Agenda has become your main work dashboard.

How do I use the simple table in my workflow?

The table at the bottom of the page is there to set your intention for each hour of the week. I usually take 30-60 minutes on Sunday to plan out the entire week ahead (or at least attempt to) by setting the hourly focus or activity. This allows me to always have a visual representation of what lies ahead. To note: if you find going through and deleting each property week after week too much, you can create a template button by typing /template and duplicating the entire table by dragging it into the template configuration whilst holding option on Mac or ctrl on Windows.

The great thing about this template is that it is fully customizable! If there is a part of a database or something on the page that you feel needs to be changed or deleted, feel free to do so! Once you’ve duplicated it into your workspace, you can make any adjustments to further personalize it as you see fit.
*just don't delete the roots section, your databases live there. Think of it as the boiler room of the system
